BYA First Election, February 13, 2010, Daly City!

Hello beloved BYAers,
As all of us know, BYA has been moving forward to build up the organization structure after the MCCFR event. As BYA is growing and involving in many and more events, the time to form a formal and organized structure of BYA has arrived.
On February 13th 2010, BYA first election will be taken place at

699 Serramonte Blvd, Daly City, Room # 101, from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm

If you want to nominate others or being nominated, please fill out the attached form and send it to <bya.election@gmail.com> no later than Friday, February 12th 2010, 10:00 pm. Remember, you can nominate yourself too. Here is the list of current nominees who accepted and filled out the application in random order.

Please see below for the brief description of all the positions. If you want to know more about the position, please refer back to latest update of BYA by law.

Board of Directors
shall govern the BYA by establishing board policies and objectives; select, appoint, support and review the performance of the chief executives; ensure the availability of adequate financial resources; approve annual budget.

President

shall preside at the meetings of the board; be a chief executive officer and supervise; direct and control of all BYA's activities and affairs.

Vice President of Entertainment and Culture Affair
shall act as the president in his or her absence; assist president on the area of entertainment and culture.

Vice President of Community and Social Service
shall act as the president in his or her absence; assist president on the area of community and social service.

Vice President of Education and People Welfare

shall act as the president in his or her absence; assist president on the area of education of people welfare.

Secretary
shall keep or cause to be kept, at BYA 's principal office or such other place as the Board may direct, a book of minutes of all meetings, proceedings, and actions of the Board, of Committees, and of members' meetings.

Treasurer
shall keep and maintain, or cause to be kept and maintained, adequate and correct books and accounts of BYA's properties and transactions

Publicist
shall be the communication, publication, recording and marketing manager of BYA ;be in charge of BYA publications such as flyers, pamphlets and newsletters.
